Harrow Quay

Privacy

This is Harrow Quay's privacy policy for this website. It says what the site collects, why, who helps run it, and how to reach the gallery about your information. Harrow Quay may update it, and the version on this page is the one that applies.

Who is responsible

Harrow Quay, Unit 3, Wharf Lane, London E14 8DQ is responsible for the personal information collected through this site. Write to info@harrowquay.test.

What this site collects

When you send an enquiry: your name, your email address and your message, so the gallery can answer you and keep a record of the conversation.

When you join the mailing list: your email address, so the gallery can send you its news. You are asked to confirm before anything is sent, and every email has a link to leave the list.

When you buy from the shop: your name, your email address and what you bought. Card details go to the payment provider and never reach the gallery.

When you visit: basic records of which pages are opened, used to run the site and keep it secure. Analytics runs only if you allow it under Cookie settings.

Why

To answer you, to send what you asked for, to complete a sale and keep the records the law requires, and to keep the site working and secure. The gallery does not sell your information, and does not use it for advertising by anybody else.

Who helps run the site

These services handle information only on the gallery's behalf and under contract: Artful, the platform this site runs on; Supabase, which stores the site's records; Vercel, which serves the site; Resend, which sends the gallery's email; Anthropic, whose AI helps the gallery read and answer messages; Sentry, which reports errors so they can be fixed. Some of them are in the United States.

How long it is kept

Enquiries and sales are kept for as long as the gallery needs them for its business, and for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Mailing list details are kept until you leave the list. Records of visits are kept for up to 24 months.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information the gallery holds about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to stop it being used for news and offers. Write to info@harrowquay.test. If you are not satisfied with the answer, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live.
