Bernard Osei-Bonsu
Born in 1943. Died 2011
Osei-Bonsu trained and worked as a civil engineer, and for forty years made drawings in the evenings by repeating one rule until it became a picture: a typed full stop thousands of times, a stencilled circle a little larger each time, ruled lines in black and red. He exhibited rarely and sold privately, and the estate was catalogued only after 2014. Harrow Quay represents the estate and shows the drawings in groups, which is how he pinned them up himself.
